MPS Manager

This is a project I did for a company near my hometown. Cenith ND-TEQ is a leading supplier of measurement devices for metallic coil production. My target was to develop a Windows application that is able to simultaneously observe and control up to eight MPS units.

Due to heavy electro-magnetic disturbances around a MPS it is not easy to communicate with it. One of the main challenges was the development of a robust reliable network-protocol which copes with this fact. Especially maintaining the data-rate was tricky. I finally solved this by inventing a dynamic compression alogrithm which adapts the compression level to the network speed.

Due to legal reasons I can't put any parts of the software or the project documentation online.
